WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT: Homesdale/Berkley/Taunton

As our Berlin-Lacey and Vermont-Academy- Oak water main replacement projects are wrapping up (tentativly 7/31), we will be starting a new water main and service line replacement project on Berkley Avenue, Berkley Court, Homesdale Avenue and Taunton Avenue on Monday, July 20th.
We anticipate this project to continue until early December. Ideally, construction work will be completed by this times, but weather, water main shut-downs and other unexpected delays may cause the work to pushed into Spring of 2027. Final trench restoration will be completed Spring/Summer of 2027.
As with many construction projects within the Town right-of-way, there will be road closures and detours along with scheduled water service interuptions during the project. Customers will be provided 24hrs notice for all water service interuptions by our contrator, Baltazar Contractors.
